Yoga from the Heart offers group classes, private yoga
instruction, workshops, teacher training, and yoga products and
supplies to bring pleasure, peace, and quiet beauty to your
modern-day life.
The faculty of Yoga from the
Heart has a strong background in the Iyengar tradition (this
system emphasizes alignment, the use of props - if needed,
and an in-depth understanding of the body, breath, and mind).
Although our style can be most closely linked with
the Iyengar tradition, we are dedicated to the explorations
and knowledge found in all traditions of yoga and how to
apply the many practical benefits and essential applications
of yoga to modern-day life. Each of us has developed our unique gifts through our
own practices.
Some people come to yoga for
relief of physical pain, some as a form of exercise, and
some as a way to relieve stress. Yoga encompasses all of
these. Whatever your reason for practicing yoga, we
encourage you to make yoga a regular part of a healthy
lifestyle.
